Alignment with DHS Guidance on Ransomware June 2021 Bulletin

In the past several months, critical infrastructure and other industries that rely on operational technology (OT) infrastructure have experienced an unprecedented amount of attacks. These successful attacks on critical OT environments, along with the payout of ransom demands, have proven successful in the eyes of attackers. Leading indicators have also shown that more attacks of this nature are likely.

As a result, in June 2021, The Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) issued organizations that operate OT environments. The guidance falls into three distinct categories including:

• Prepare
• Mitigate
• Respond
