Tenable™, Inc., the Cyber Exposure company, announced today that the company’s latest product, Industrial Security from Tenable, has been recognized with the bronze award for ICS/SCADA Security at the 2018 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.
Industrial Security, which was announced last fall along with a strategic partnership with Siemens, delivers continuous asset discovery and vulnerability detection for safety-critical operational networks. It is the industry’s first operational technology-dedicated passive vulnerability detection solution, and the first to provide organizations with a safe and reliable approach to identifying vulnerabilities in their ICS and SCADA systems.
“Digital transformation has pushed ICS and SCADA systems from isolation into the internet-connected world. Unfortunately, this has created a critical security challenge for organizations running operational technology,” said Dave Cole, chief product officer, Tenable. “With Industrial Security from Tenable, we’re giving customers complete visibility into their environments to better understand cyber exposure and reduce risk introduced by outside threats. We’re honored that the solution has been recognized by the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards just months after it was introduced to the market.”
