CVE-2025-62581 - Hard-coded JWT Secret Key (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H)

DIAView uses a hardcoded secret key.

CVE-2025-62582 - Unauthenticated Remote Database Access (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H)

An unauthenticated remote attacker can access configured databases in a DIAView project.
 

Solution

Upgrade to DIAView version 4.4 or later.

Disclosure Timeline

September 8, 2025: Tenable sends request for contact to email address we have used previously.
September 8, 2025: Delta responds that the email address is correct for disclosure.
September 9, 2025: Tenable sends disclosure email.
September 16, 2025: Tenable asks Delta to please confirm receipt.
October 2, 2025: Tenable asks Delta to confirm receipt.
October 3, 2025: Delta acknowledges that they have received the initial security contact request and replied to that. They do not appear to have seen the disclosure messages and ask us to send the disclosure.
October 3, 2025: Tenable replies to let Delta know we will try to send another way. Tenable sends the vulnerability details again, another way.
October 4, 2025: Delta acknowledges receipt.
October 15, 2025: Delta confirms they will fix both issues in a new version v4.4 which is planned to be released at about the end of December, 2025.
October 16, 2025: Tenable requests Delta share CVE identifiers when they are available.
November 3, 2025: Tenable asks if Delta is still on track to release fixes in December.
November 13, 2025: Delta responds that they are not able to meet the timeline and won't have a fix until January 2026 or mid-February 2026.
December 11, 2025: Tenable replies that we can withhold publishing through January 19, 2026. Delta acknowledges and shares the planned CVEs.
January 14, 2026: Delta tells Tenable that their fix will be ready soon and inquires about publication date.
January 15, 2026: Tenable replies that publication will actually happen on the 20th.
January 16, 2026: Delta replies that they have published their advisory.
