Synopsis
During the analysis of PMASA-2010-5 and developing a Nesuss plugin, it was discovered that the 'Verbose server name' field in /setup/index.php does not properly sanitize user-supplied input before being passed to setup/frames/index.inc.php, leading to a stored cross-site scripting issue. After submitting the form, the input is sanitized everwhere except the 'td' tag, so it renders in the table where all servers are listed. Authentication is required for this attack.
Solution
Upgrade to 3.3.7, or later. Note that 2.11.10.1 was tested and found not vulnerable. The vendor confirmed that 2.11.x was not affected.
