Tenable Network Security Names TOYO Corporation as Value-Added Distributor in Japan for Nessus and SecurityCenter

Tenable Network Security®, Inc., the leader in real-time vulnerability management, today announced an agreement with TOYO Corporation as a Value-Added Distributor for Japan, giving Japanese organizations vulnerability and threat management technologies that enable the fastest, smartest risk decisions to protect them from data theft and disruption.

The agreement adds TOYO to the Tenable Edge Global Partner Network and builds upon Tenable’s more-than-decade-long service to the Japanese market through its Nessus® and SecurityCenter™ offerings. Now Japanese customers will have local sales, support and training for Tenable products, vastly enhancing their ability to use Tenable’s offerings to their full advantage.

Tenable’s strategy for the Japanese market is three-fold:

1. Investing a Tenable team in Japan to provide a local voice to Japanese customers, as completed in November 2013 when Tenable established its Japanese subsidiary, Tenable Network Security Japan.

2. Partnering with TOYO, which has the proven track record and security expertise, coverage and reach in Japan to help expand Tenable’s offerings to more customers in Japan.

3. Setting up a Tenable Authorized Training Center within TOYO’s facility and certifying TOYO to provide localized Nessus and SecurityCenter training to customers. By doing so, users will be able to learn and fully optimize Tenable’s solutions.

The Information and Communications Technologies division of TOYO Corporation was selected as the Japanese distribution partner for Tenable Nessus vulnerability products. In Japan, approximately 400 organizations have already selected Nessus through direct purchase from Tenable in the United States. In addition, TOYO will launch SecurityCenter, Tenable’s network security solution for organizations with large and complex networks, in the Japanese market.
