Top provider of continuous network monitoring expands board with veteran growth leaders
Tenable Network Security®, Inc., the leader in continuous network monitoring, has appointed accomplished business and financial leader Ron Kaiser as audit committee chair for the company’s board of directors.
Kaiser brings more than 35 years of public and private finance, accounting and operations experience to Tenable. As a veteran board member, CEO and CFO for over a dozen high-growth companies, Kaiser is the latest addition to Tenable’s board as the company executes on its growth strategy. In June, Tenable announced Michael Capellas as its board’s lead director.
“Our unique ability to protect customers from cyber threats presents us with a significant market opportunity, and Ron Kaiser’s business and financial expertise will help Tenable take full advantage of that opportunity,” said Ron Gula, CEO, Tenable Network Security. “Ron’s financial leadership for both publicly-held companies and private enterprises aligns nicely with Tenable’s vision as we optimize and scale for our next stage of accelerated growth.”
Kaiser served as a board member and/or audit committee chair for OPNET Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPNT), Vocus, Inc. (NASDAQ:VOCS), Tangoe, Inc. (NASDAQ: TNGO), and The Neat Company, where he also served as interim CEO from October 2013 to October 2014. Kaiser also previously served as CFO of Trusted Information Systems (NASDAQ: TISX), an early leader in cyber and Internet security.
“As cyber threats grow in force and complexity, Tenable’s continuous network monitoring platform is helping organizations deal with today’s toughest security challenges,” said Kaiser. “I am excited to contribute to the future direction and financial growth of this global security leader.”
Tenable’s market-defining continuous network monitoring platform allows some of the most widely recognized companies in the world to discover, analyze and respond to threats on their networks. Tenable was named one of the 100 most promising companies in North America in 2014 by Red Herring. The company was also named one of the fastest growing technology companies for the sixth consecutive year by the Deloitte Fast 500 program.
