Leading federal systems integrator engages Tenable to make it secure and easy for federal Microsoft customers to migrate to cloud and reap the benefits of the Azure platform
Tenable Network Security, Inc., a global leader transforming security technology for the business needs of tomorrow, announced today a joint effort with Planet Technologies, a leading Microsoft systems integrator for government, to help customers conduct a seamless and secure transition to the cloud.
“The biggest concern customers have when moving to any major cloud platform is security, and although there has been an increased focus for the public sector to update legacy systems and embrace the cloud, many are still hesitant to make the move,” said Mike Kirby, senior vice president of worldwide sales, Tenable Network Security. “Our joint approach to cloud migration offers customers a complete package with expert consultancy and integration services from Planet Technologies and next-generation security assurance from Tenable that helps customers know their data is safe and secure.”
With market-defining vulnerability management and continuous monitoring solutions from Tenable, federal customers gain the continuous visibility and critical context needed to reduce security gaps and safely move IT operations and infrastructure to Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
“As the dominant player architecting and deploying Microsoft cloud solutions, we strongly believe in Microsoft security practices, but at the end of the day, our customers are still responsible for keeping their own assets secure,” said Scott Tucker, president and CEO, Planet Technologies. “By combining Tenable’s industry leading cybersecurity solutions and tools with Planet’s affordable packaged cloud service offerings, we are able to provide our government clients an extra level of security assurance that ultimately improves their overall security posture.”
Planet Technologies is a leading Microsoft service provider for government, recognized 16 times as Microsoft’s Partner of the Year.
