Course Description
This two-day Tenable.sc™ Specialist instructor-led course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively utilize Tenable’s comprehensive vulnerability analysis solution in typical on-premises enterprise IT environments. Content for the course includes installation and configuration of Tenable.sc, a review of essential Tenable.sc operations, a technology overview along with architecture and design discussions for typical environments, and a detailed scanning and analysis review.
Audience
This course is suited for all parties interested in learning Tenable.sc.
Prerequisites
Students should complete the Tenable.sc Introduction course available for no charge at Tenable University, possess a basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, operating systems security and common client/server applications. Familiarity with vulnerability management vocabulary and concepts will be helpful but is not required.

CPE Credits
Tenable cannot award CPE credits toward industry certifications such as CISSP or GIAC, as CPE credits are awarded by the certification body that grants the certification (e.g., ISC2, SANS, PCI Council, etc.). Tenable provides a Certificate of Attendance after completion of a Tenable Instructor-Led, On-Demand or Custom course. In most cases, this certificate is accepted by the certification body and CPE credit is awarded.
