This fast-paced Tenable.ad™ Specialist Course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively utilize Tenable.ad to address Active Directory (AD) risks and disrupt attack paths in enterprise IT environments. Participants in this two-day course will learn how to implement and support the Tenable.ad platform. Content for the instructor-led course includes installation and configuration of Tenable.ad in cloud or on-premises environments, a review of essential AD components and Tenable.ad operations, and detailed discussions on using Indicators of Exposure (IoEs) and Indicators of Attack (IoAs) to analyze vulnerabilities and detect attacks.
This course is suited for professionals with operational responsibilities using Tenable.ad who want to expand their knowledge to maximize the solution’s effectiveness.
Students should complete the Tenable.ad Introduction course available for no charge at Tenable University, possess a basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, operating systems security and common client/server applications. Familiarity with vulnerability management vocabulary and concepts will be helpful but is not required.
Tenable cannot award CPE credits toward industry certifications such as CISSP or GIAC, as CPE credits are awarded by the certification body that grants the certification (e.g., ISC2, SANS, PCI Council, etc.). Tenable provides a Certificate of Attendance after completion of a Tenable Instructor-Led, On-Demand or Custom course. In most cases, this certificate is accepted by the certification body and CPE credit is awarded.
