Tenable Nessus Advanced Course

Course description

This on-demand course provides a series of targeted video lessons that build advanced knowledge and skills for using the Nessus vulnerability assessment solution. Topics include attack surface discovery, web application scanning, and results analysis.

Customers who purchase Nessus Advanced receive one (1) year of course access from the date of purchase, with unlimited viewing during the access period. The final knowledge assessment may be attempted as many times as needed to pass, with a seven-day waiting period between attempts. Upon passing the assessment, the learner receives a digital badge and Certificate of Completion documenting successful completion of the course.

The Certificate of Completion and digital badge do not expire and are separate from the one-year course access period.

Audience

This course is suitable for all parties interested in learning or improving their knowledge of Nessus Expert.

Prerequisites

This course builds on the material in the Nessus Fundamentals course. We strongly advise completing Nessus Fundamentals prior to taking the Nessus Advanced course.

CPE credits

Tenable cannot award CPE credits toward industry certifications such as CISSP or GIAC, as CPE credits are awarded by the certification body that grants the certification (e.g., ISC2, SANS, PCI Council, etc.). Tenable provides a Certificate of Completion for this course, and in most cases this certificate is accepted by the certification body and CPE credit is awarded.
