There are packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability referenced in the following CVE:

  - The convert extension in Mercurial before 3.8 might allow context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary

According to the versions of the mercurial package installed, the EulerOS installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

  - The _validaterepo function in sshpeer in Mercurial before 3.2.4 allows remote attackers to execute     arbitrary commands via a crafted repository name in a clone command. (CVE-2014-9462)

  - The convert extension in Mercurial before 3.8 might allow context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary     code via a crafted git repository name. (CVE-2016-3105)

  - The binary delta decoder in Mercurial before 3.7.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a     (1) clone, (2) push, or (3) pull command, related to (a) a list sizing rounding error and (b) short     records. (CVE-2016-3630)

  - The mpatch_decode function in mpatch.c in Mercurial before 4.6.1 mishandles certain situations where there     should be at least 12 bytes remaining after the current position in the patch data, but actually are not,     aka OVE-20180430-0001. (CVE-2018-13348)

The remote host is affected by the vulnerability described in GLSA-201612-19 (Mercurial: Multiple vulnerabilities)

    Multiple vulnerabilities have been discovered in Mercurial. Please       review the CVE identifier and bug reports referenced for details.
  Impact :

    A remote attacker could possibly execute arbitrary code with the       privileges of the process.
  Workaround :

    There is no known workaround at this time.

Blake Burkhart discovered an arbitrary code execution flaw in Mercurial, a distributed version control system, when using the convert extension on Git repositories with specially crafted names.
This flaw in particular affects automated code conversion services that allow arbitrary repository names.

Patches are taken from the Jessie version.
