An issue was discovered in ZZIPlib 0.13.68. There is a memory leak triggered in the function zzip_mem_disk_new in memdisk.c, which will lead to a denial of service attack.

The remote Ubuntu 16.04 ESM / 18.04 ESM / 20.04 LTS host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the USN-6298-1 advisory.

  - Infinite Loop in zziplib v0.13.69 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via the return     value zzip_file_read in the function unzzip_cat_file. (CVE-2020-18442)

  - An issue was discovered in ZZIPlib through 0.13.69.
    There is a memory leak triggered in the function
