The TIFFWriteDirectoryTagLongLong8Array function in tif_dirwrite.c in the tiffset tool in LibTIFF 4.0.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via vectors involving the ma variable.

Two vulnerabilities have been discovered in libtiff, a library providing support for the Tag Image File Format, which may result in denial of service (out-of-bounds read or assertion failure) via a crafted TIFF file.

For Debian 7 'Wheezy', these problems have been fixed in version 4.0.2-6+deb7u13.

We recommend that you upgrade your tiff packages.
