Synopsis

The remote Slackware Linux host is missing a security update to patch.

Description

The version of patch installed on the remote host is prior to 2.8. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the SSA:2025-256-01 advisory.

 New patch packages are available for Slackware 15.0 to fix security issues.
