The remote machine is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version CORE 5.04 / MAIN 5.04, has libvorbis packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

- An out of bounds write flaw was found in the processing of vorbis audio data. A maliciously crafted file or audio stream could cause the application to crash or, potentially, execute arbitrary code. (CVE-2018-5146)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL libvorbis packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
