medium Nessus Plugin ID 105653
New! Plugin Severity Now Using CVSS v3

The calculated severity for Plugins has been updated to use CVSS v3 by default. Plugins that do not have a CVSS v3 score will fall back to CVSS v2 for calculating severity. Severity display preferences can be toggled in the settings dropdown.

The device is vulnerable to key reinstallation attacks (KRACK).

The version of Juniper Junos OS installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities related to the KRACK attacks.
This may allow an attacker to decrypt, replay, and forge some frames on a WPA2 encrypted network.

Note that Juniper's products do not support Fast BSS Transition Reassociation and PeerKey Handshake so are Not Vulnerable to CVE-2017-13082, CVE-2017-13084, CVE-2017-13086, CVE-2017-13087, or CVE-2017-13088.

Disable all Wi-Fi configurations and set all ports with AX411 Access Points down. Refer to vendor advisory for solution and mitigation options.
