Integer underflow in the ProcessCommandsInternal function in dec/decode.c in Brotli, as used in Google Chrome before 48.0.2564.109, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (buffer overflow) or possibly have unspecified other impact via crafted data with brotli compression.

Security researcher Luke Li reported a pointer underflow bug in the Brotli library's decompression that leads to a buffer overflow. This results in a potentially exploitable crash when triggered.

The DOM implementation in Chromium did not properly restrict frame-attach operations from occurring during or after frame-detach operations. Chromium is an open source web browser, powered by WebKit (Blink).
