Race condition in the AsyncPaintWaitEvent::AsyncPaintWaitEvent function in Mozilla Firefox before 37.0.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (use-after-free) via a crafted plugin that does not properly complete initialization.

The remote host is affected by the vulnerability described in GLSA-201512-10 (Mozilla Products: Multiple vulnerabilities)

  Impact :

    A remote attacker could entice a user to view a specially crafted web       page or email, possibly resulting in execution of arbitrary code or a       Denial of Service condition.
  Workaround :

    There is no known workaround at this time.

Robert Kaiser discovered a use-after-free during plugin initialization in some circumstances. If a user were tricked in to opening a specially crafted website, an attacker could potentially exploit this to cause a denial of service via application crash or execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the user invoking Firefox.
