Description

Grafana version 8.0.x prior to 8.0.7, 8.1.x prior to 8.1.8, 8.2.x prior to 8.2.7, and 8.3.x prior to 8.3.1 are vulnerable to a path traversal issue that could allow an attacker to read arbitrary files on the host system that Grafana has access to.

A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request to the affected application.

Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to read sensitive files on the host system.

Solution

Upgrade to Grafana version 8.0.7 or 8.1.8 or 8.2.7 or 8.3.1 or later.
