Lead Generated Plugin for WordPress < 1.25 Insecure Deserialization

critical Web App Scanning Plugin ID 114212

Synopsis

Lead Generated Plugin for WordPress < 1.25 Insecure Deserialization

Description

The WordPress Lead Generated Plugin installed on the remote host is affected by an unauthenticated insecure deserialization. The tve_labels parameter of the tve_api_form_submit action is passed to the PHP unserialize() function without being sanitized or verified, and as a result could lead to PHP object injection.

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Lead Generated Plugin for WordPress 1.25 or latest.
