Atlassian Jira < 8.13.12 Indirect Direct Object Reference In Status Gadget

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the instance of Atlassian Jira hosted on the remote web server is prior to 8.20.0. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability which allows anonymous remote attackers to view the names of private projects and filters via an Insecure Direct Object References (IDOR) vulnerability in the Average Number of Times in Status Gadget.

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Atlassian Jira version 8.13.12 or later.
