Atlassian 8.6.x < 8.6.1 Open Redirect In Login.jsp

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the instance of Atlassian Jira hosted on the remote web server is 7.13.0 prior to 8.5.2 or 8.6.x < 8.6.1. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability that permits remote attackers to redirect users to a different website which they may use as part of performing a phishing attack via an open redirect in the os_destination parameter.

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Atlassian Jira version 8.6.1 or later.
