PHP 7.4.x < 7.4.10 Memory Leak Vulnerability

high Web App Scanning Plugin ID 112605

Synopsis

PHP 7.4.x < 7.4.10 Memory Leak Vulnerability

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the version of PHP running on the remote web server is 7.3.x prior to 7.3.22 or 7.4.x prior to 7.4.10. It is, therefore, affected by a memory leak vulnerability in the LDAP component. An unauthenticated, remote attacker could exploit this issue to cause a denial-of-service condition.

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to PHP version 7.4.10 or later.
