Backbone.js < 0.5.0 Cross-Site Scripting

Description

According to its self-reported version number, Backbone.js is prior to 0.5.0. Therefore, it may be affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability when users are allowed to supply input to the Model#Escape function.

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Backbone.js version 0.5.0 or later.
