openSUSE Security Update : popt (openSUSE-SU-2010:0428-1)

high Nessus Plugin ID 47820

New! Plugin Severity Now Using CVSS v3

The calculated severity for Plugins has been updated to use CVSS v3 by default. Plugins that do not have a CVSS v3 score will fall back to CVSS v2 for calculating severity. Severity display preferences can be toggled in the settings dropdown.

The remote openSUSE host is missing a security update.

This update fixes the problem where RPM misses to clear the SUID/SGID bit of old files during package updates. (CVE-2010-2059)

Also the following bug was fixed: do not use glibc for passwd/group lookups when --root is used [bnc#536256]

Update the affected popt packages.
