Synopsis

The remote FreeBSD host is missing one or more security-related updates.

Description

The version of FreeBSD installed on the remote host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the 4784aba5-d6a9-11f1-8a93-a0369f6e85b8 advisory.

 The freenginx project reports:
 One of the keys was left uninitialized when using automatic rotation of TLS session ticket keys, making it possible to forge a session and bypass client certificate verification (CVE-2026-97629).

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the FreeBSD security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
