The remote AlmaLinux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote AlmaLinux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALSA-2026:92157 advisory.

 * cjose: OpenIDC/cjose uses all-zero Content Encryption Key for AES-CBC-HMAC JWE encryption (CVE-2026-53939)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected cjose, cjose-devel and / or mod_auth_openidc packages.
