AlmaLinux 9.2 [TuxCare] Security Update: osbuild-composer / osbuild-composer-core / etc (ALMALINUX9.2:CLSA-2026:1790972556)

high Nessus Plugin ID 362785

Synopsis

The AlmaLinux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The AlmaLinux 9.2 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the TuxCare ALMALINUX9.2:CLSA-2026:1790972556 advisory.

- Echo is a Go web framework. Prior to 4.15.3 and 5.2.0, Echo's router and static file handler disagree on URL path decoding. The router matches routes using the raw encoded path (preserving %2F as-is), while StaticDirectoryHandler unescapes %2F to / before resolving filesystem paths. This allows an attacker to bypass route-level access controls and read static files without authorization. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.15.3 and 5.2.0. (CVE-2026-55677)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages based on the guidance in TuxCare advisory ALMALINUX9.2:CLSA-2026:1790972556.
