Description

The AlmaLinux 9.2 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the TuxCare ALMALINUX9.2:CLSA-2026:1789748039 advisory.

 - PCRE2 before 10.48 has a pcre2_match out-of-bounds read during the PCRE2_MATCH_INVALID_UTF matching of an invalid UTF subject. (CVE-2026-89160)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
