Description

The AlmaLinux 9.2 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the TuxCare ALMALINUX9.2:CLSA-2026:1788432569 advisory.

 - GNU GRUB (aka GRUB2) through 2.12 does not use a constant-time algorithm for grub_crypto_memcmp and thus allows side-channel attacks. (CVE-2024-56738)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
