Synopsis

The AlmaLinux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The AlmaLinux 9.2 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the TuxCare ALMALINUX9.2:CLSA-2025:1765986482 advisory.

 - A flaw was found in WebKitGTK and WPE WebKit. This vulnerability allows an out-of-bounds read and integer underflow, leading to a UIProcess crash (DoS) via a crafted payload to the GLib remote inspector server.

 - Multiple issues were addressed by disabling array allocation sinking. This issue is fixed in Safari 26.1, iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1, macOS Tahoe 26.1, visionOS 26.1. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to an unexpected process crash. (CVE-2025-43421)

 - The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in Safari 26.1, iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1, macOS Tahoe 26.1, tvOS 26.1, visionOS 26.1, watchOS 26.1. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to an unexpected process crash. (CVE-2025-43425)

 - This issue was addressed through improved state management. This issue is fixed in Safari 26.1, iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1, macOS Tahoe 26.1, tvOS 26.1, visionOS 26.1. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to an unexpected process crash. (CVE-2025-43427)

 - A buffer overflow was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in Safari 26.1, iOS 18.7.2 and iPadOS 18.7.2, iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1, macOS Tahoe 26.1, tvOS 26.1, visionOS 26.1, watchOS 26.1. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to an unexpected process crash. (CVE-2025-43429)

Solution

Update the affected packages based on the guidance in TuxCare advisory ALMALINUX9.2:CLSA-2025:1765986482.
