The remote AlmaLinux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote AlmaLinux 10 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the ALSA-2026:69553 advisory.

 * libarchive: heap overflow OOB read while parsing a tar archive contains a PAX extended header (CVE-2026-15028)
 * libarchive: libarchive: Signed Integer Overflow in archive_write_zip_header (CVE-2026-16517)

Solution

Update the affected bsdtar, libarchive and / or libarchive-devel packages.
