Synopsis

The remote Slackware Linux host is missing a security update to p11-kit.

Description

The version of p11-kit installed on the remote host is prior to 0.26.5. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SSA:2026-218-02 advisory.

 New p11-kit packages are available for Slackware 15.0 and -current to fix a security issue.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the p11-kit security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the affected p11-kit package.
