Description

The remote CentOS Linux 9 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the expat-2.5.0-7.el9 build changelog.

- In libexpat before 2.8.1, the computational complexity of attribute name collision checks allows a denial of service via moderately sized crafted XML input. (CVE-2026-45186)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
