Synopsis

The remote openSUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote openSUSE 16 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the openSUSE- SU-2026:21302-1 advisory.

 This update for nghttp2 fixes the following issue

 - CVE-2026-58055: HTTP request/response smuggling via upgrade request with `Content-Length` (bsc#1269489).

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the SUSE security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected libnghttp2-14, libnghttp2-devel and / or nghttp2 packages.
