Synopsis

The remote FreeBSD host is missing one or more security-related updates.

Description

The version of FreeBSD installed on the remote host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the d87e5fb4-64d4-11f1-ab11-4c526214c986 advisory.

 https://github.com/erlang/otp/security/advisories/GHSA-gp7x-mfv6-52cv reports:
 Erlang distribution over TLS run with the kernel check_ip flag now properly enforces connecting nodes to be on the same LAN. Previously the constraint was not enforced.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the FreeBSD security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
