Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux 2023 host is missing a security update.

Description

It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the ALAS2023-2026-1803 advisory.

 Heap-based buffer overflow in .NET allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
 (CVE-2026-32177)

 Loop with unreachable exit condition ('infinite loop') in ASP.NET Core allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network. (CVE-2026-42899)

Solution

Run 'dnf update dotnet10.0 --releasever 2023.12.20260608' or or 'dnf update --advisory ALAS2023-2026-1803 --releasever 2023.12.20260608' to update your system.
