Synopsis

The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES12 / SLES_SAP12 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2026:2065-1 advisory.

This update for python-urllib3 fixes the following issue

- CVE-2026-44431: sensitive information disclosure due to sensitive headers being forwarded across origins in proxied low-level redirects (bsc#1265267).

Solution

Update the affected python-urllib3 and / or python3-urllib3 packages.
