Synopsis

The remote Slackware Linux host is missing a security update to libgpg-error.

Description

The version of libgpg-error installed on the remote host is prior to 1.61. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SSA:2026-127-01 advisory.

 New libgpg-error packages are available for Slackware 15.0 and -current to fix security issues.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the libgpg-error security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the affected libgpg-error package.
