Synopsis

The remote Slackware Linux host is missing a security update to mpg123.

Description

The version of mpg123 installed on the remote host is prior to 1.33.5. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SSA:2026-117-01 advisory.

New mpg123 packages are available for Slackware 15.0 and -current to fix security issues.

Solution

Upgrade the affected mpg123 package.
