The remote openSUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote openSUSE 16 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the openSUSE- SU-2026:20617-1 advisory.

This update for python-Pillow fixes the following issue:

- CVE-2026-40192: Versions 10.3.0 through 12.1.1 did not limit the amount of GZIP-compressed data read when decoding a FITS image, making them vulnerable to decompression bomb attacks (bsc#1262184).

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the SUSE security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected python313-Pillow and / or python313-Pillow-tk packages.
