Synopsis

The remote web server contains a web application that is affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability.

Description

According to its self-reported version number, Zimbra Collaboration Server is affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability:

 - A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Zimbra Classic UI due to improper sanitization of crafted HTML content. An attacker can exploit this to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of a victim's browser session. (CVE-2025-48700)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to version 8.8.15 Patch 47, 9.0.0 Patch 43, 10.0.12, 10.1.4, or later.
