Synopsis

The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES15 / openSUSE 15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2026:1314-1 advisory.

This update for ignition fixes the following issue:

- CVE-2026-33186: google.golang.org/grpc: authorization bypass due to improper validation of the HTTP/2 `:path` pseudo-header (bsc#1260251).

Solution

Update the affected ignition and / or ignition-dracut-grub2 packages.
