Synopsis

The remote Slackware Linux host is missing a security update to libarchive.

Description

The version of libarchive installed on the remote host is prior to 3.8.7. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SSA:2026-103-01 advisory.

New libarchive packages are available for Slackware 15.0 and -current to fix security issues.
