The remote SUSE host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES12 host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2026:1152-1 advisory.

- CVE-2006-10002: heap buffer overflow in `parse_stream` when processing UTF-8 input streams (bsc#1259901).
- CVE-2006-10003: off-by-one heap buffer overflow in `st_serial_stack` (bsc#1259902).

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected perl-XML-Parser package.
