The remote openSUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote openSUSE 16 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the openSUSE- SU-2026:20330-1 advisory.

This update for python-uv fixes the following issue:

- CVE-2025-13327: parsing differentials when processing specially crafted ZIP archives during package installation can lead to arbitrary code execution (bsc#1258993).

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the SUSE security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected python313-uv, python313-uv-bash-completion, python313-uv-fish-completion and / or python313-uv-zsh- completion packages.
