Synopsis

The remote SUSE host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES15 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2026:0648-1 advisory.

 - CVE-2025-12474: a specially crafted file can cause the decoder to read pixel data from uninitialized allocated memory (bsc#1258090).
 - CVE-2026-1837: a specially crafted file can cause the decoder to write pixel data to uninitialized unallocated memory (bsc#1258091).

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the SUSE security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected libjxl-devel, libjxl-tools, libjxl0_10 and / or libjxl0_10-32bit packages.
