Description

According to its self-reported version number, the Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data application located on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

- The Socket Appender in Apache Log4j Core versions 2.0-beta9 through 2.25.2 does not perform TLS hostname verification of the peer certificate, even when the verifyHostName configuration attribute or the log4j2.sslVerifyHostName system property is set to true. (CVE-2025-68161)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data version 21.21.0.0.0 or later.
