Synopsis

The remote EulerOS Virtualization host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the versions of the expat package installed, the EulerOS Virtualization installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 libexpat in Expat before 2.7.2 allows attackers to trigger large dynamic memory allocations via a small document that is submitted for parsing.(CVE-2025-59375)

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS Virtualization expat security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected expat packages.
