Synopsis

The remote Slackware Linux host is missing a security update to wget2.

Description

The version of wget2 installed on the remote host is prior to 2.2.1. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SSA:2025-364-02 advisory.

New wget2 packages are available for Slackware 15.0 and -current to fix security issues.

Solution

Upgrade the affected wget2 package.
